Energy Efficiency
Blue Sky Homes feature R-30 walls and R-40 walls and roofs made from EPS Foam. EPS foam is an excellent thermal insulation material and can return up to 200 times the amount of energy required to produce it*. Additionally, passive solar considerations are a part of all Blue Sky Home designs. Our level of insulation helps lower heating and cooling costs, creates a more comfortable indoor living environment, and exceeds the latest ASHRAE and IECC requirements
Recycled Materials / Recyclable Content
Our homes feature a steel frame which is made from 80% recycled content. Additionally, our recommended wall system contains recycled steal and EPS foam which is 100% recyclable.
Air Quality
All materials in our homes are chosen to reduce or eliminate VOCs. Our building materials won’t shrink, settle, outgas or diminish air quality. In consturction we use low VOC paints, and ensure that only sustainable products are used.
Durable
Our homes will not rust, rot or decompose, reducing the amount of time and energy needed to maintain your home.
Minimal Construction Waste
Our home are made using pre-cut steel, and wall components, which are manufactured to the exact dimensions for your home. This significantly reduces construction waste and promotes a clean bulding site.
Mold and Moisture Resistant
Our construction materials will not support mold growth and resists moisture absorption.
