Better Design:

We offer two home building alternatives. Either select one of the existing designs in our catalog of designs or you can work with one of our architectural partners to customized these designs to suite your lifestyle.

Each design offers set exterior dimensions and square footage for the overall home. But within the walls of that design we offer an almost unlimited amount of floor plan flexibility.

For each design we have suggested several different floor plans and the location of doors and windows. You can pick one of these, or work with our team to create your own floor plan. Additionally, you can select your own interior fixtures and finishes along with the exterior cladding for your home.

If none of our current home designs suits your particular requirements, you can work with our architects – or your own – to create a wholly unique home design.

All of our homes feature components from Blue Sky Building Systems.

Frame.

All of our house designs incorporate the Blue Sky Frame™ — a precision framing system made from prefabricated, cold-formed, light-gauge galvanized steel. Its elements are factory fabricated and then shipped to the house site where they are rapidly assembled. Because of the frame’s unique structural properties, homes can be designed with the large open and flexible spaces preferred by today’s homebuyers. Walls.

Our homes feature a light-gauge steel and rigid foam wall system. These walls go up very quickly, offer easy access for utilities, and provide superior insulation qualities. Our wall typically have an R-24 insulation rating. Additionally, all wall materials don’t promote mold growth, can’t rot, won’t burn when exposed to a direct flame, and are completely recyclable.

Roof.

The Blue Sky Homes feature optional steel roof solutions. When this solution is used, the home becomes highly fire resistant, mold-proof, rot-proof and impervious to termites. Additionally, steel roofs have the benefit of being extremely long lasting and maintenance free.

Better Process:

We offer a simplified, streamlined and predictable process for home building. We orchestrate all of the people required to make the process as painless as possible. And that means that your home can be planned and built in a reduced amount of time and for a guaranteed price.

Fast.

Our homes can be built in a fraction of the time required to build a typical home. That’s because we fabricate as many of the elements as possible off site so that when they arrive at the house site they can be assembled very rapidly. Our production methods also dramatically reduced on-site measuring, cutting, drilling and hammering.

Less Invasive

Many of the best lots, with the best views, are not flat. Because of the unique structural properties of the Blue Sky Frame, our homes are ideal for building on these prime lots. Our homes can sit off the ground on a relatively small number of columns, resulting in much less expensive site and foundation work. We can help you build a better, and safer house, often at a lower cost than traditional building methods will allow. Eco-friendly.

Ours are among the most eco-friendly homes offered. Our homes contain no structural wood whatsoever, are made from up to 80% recycled content, are energy efficient, have low impact on the landscape, and are built with very little waste.
